YummyPhone
Published by Sarwari Kamran. Free internet phone for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, and Android.
YummyPhone gives you a virtual number for text, photos, files, voice notes, video, calls, a QR code to add someone, and one-to-one push-to-talk. Canada looks like 0-1-234-5678. The United States looks like 1-1-222-2222.
That number works inside YummyPhone. It is not a carrier phone number and it is not a public telephone line. YummyPhone does not send SMS and does not place cellular calls.
iPhone and iPad install from TestFlight. Mac and Windows install from the setup below. Each installer removes the previous YummyPhone app first, then installs one copy and opens it.

The app
Android
The Android download is a signed APK, version 1.0.0. Install it from this page. Google Play is coming. The same virtual number works on Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Windows. Text and voice calls go over the internet. YummyPhone is not a carrier line.
Windows
The Windows download is a setup wizard. It removes the previous YummyPhone app, asks where to install, asks Windows for administrator permission, installs one copy, and then opens YummyPhone.
Mac
The Mac download is a signed setup wizard. It removes the previous YummyPhone app and its caches, asks for the install disk and your admin password, installs one copy in Applications, then opens YummyPhone.
iPhone and iPad
iPhone and iPad install through TestFlight. Apple processes the build before testers can open it. When a public TestFlight link is available it will be listed on this page. Support and the privacy policy Apple uses are here.
